Information for Photographers
Terms and Conditions for Photo Accreditation
- Your accreditation is personal and may not be used by anyone else.
- Photo accreditation applies only to still photography taken from the photo pit in front of the stage.
- All video recording requires permission from the performing artist. Each media outlet is responsible for obtaining such permission independently — Göteborg Culture Festival cannot provide it.
- Göteborg Culture Festival reserves the right to issue and revoke all accreditations at any time during the event.
Access and Photo Rules
- Photo accreditation grants access to the photo pit (the area between the stage and the audience barrier) at Kungstorget.
- Please note: The pit is primarily a workspace for security staff and is a highly restricted area.
You must wear your accreditation badge visibly at all times and wait outside the stage area until a member of the pit staff lets you in. - Pit staff may at any time decide to further limit access to the pit, for example for safety reasons.
- Photographers are normally allowed to shoot during the first three songs. For performances consisting of several short acts, this may be limited to the first song only. Pit staff will communicate this on site.
- When the allotted songs are finished, you are expected to leave the pit immediately. Please exit the pit before packing up your equipment.
If pit staff ask you to leave, they will tap you on the shoulder.
Additional Guidelines
- It is important that photographers avoid interfering with the work of security staff as much as possible.
- If you publish your photos on social media, you are welcome to tag our account @goteborgskulturkalas. This is not required, but if you do, we may share your images on our own channels.
