The bath was built in 1956 as the first democratic bath, where everyone could afford to go. The mosaic walls, the space and the light are widely discussed.

There is a political agreement to replace the bath with a new central bath. But before that, a democratic planning process must be carried out in accordance with the Planning and Building Act (PBL).
