In this guided tour, we highlight some of the around 100 photographs shown in our latest exhibition Pictures from the past. Avenyn, Delsjön, Liseberg, Nordstan, Brunnsparken and Slottsskogen are all places that have a given part in many citizens lives. The images capture historical moments, memorable events, and the everyday life and leisure activities of Gothenburgers.

The exhibition highlights images from the Hjörnearkivet, which contains approximately ten million press photographs from the 20th century to the present day. This vast archive was donated from Göteborgs-Posten during the city’s 400th anniversary.
