Description
The musical legacy of the Taikon family lives on, under the direction of singer and flamenco dancer Salamanca Taikon. The Taikon family has a long tradition as touring musicians and grandma Singoalla played double bass and was a bandleader for many years. Now her granddaughter Salamanca is taking the legacy forward in a contemporary version of the band. Musicians from different genres make their mark and this modern edition of Taikon's orchestra moves unhindered between traditional Roma songs, jazz, flamenco and Balkan music.
