Description
Their sound is enticing, omnious and freezing cold. Armed with cold drum machine, chorusy guitar, fretless bass, sharp synths and distant, massive vocals Torch beat into you their take on modern dark wave music. The inspiration draws on gothic post-punk, melancholic cold wave and rumbling EBM, and in this way it is safe to expect both distressing, longing songs and bleak, sweaty bangers from Torch.
In less than two years Torch have played concerts across Germany, England and Sweden as well as a sold out debut cassette release at the legendary, now closed, Aarhus venue Tape. The debut EP was followed by two equally hard-hitting and beautiful singles mixed by John R. Mirland, who has worked with Leæther Strip. In 2022 Torch expect to release a debut album.
