The activities during our festival are free and open to everyone. However, you pay for food and drinks that are sold at the festival’s food vendors.

Absolutely! Gothenburg Culture Festival has something for everyone, not the least for the youngest.

Visiting the festival

I’ve lost something during my visit to the festival. What should I do?

Each participating organiser has their own staff handling lost and found items. Please speak to the staff at the location where you think you lost your belonging—they’ll be happy to help you.

Am I allowed to take photos of a concert or an activity?

For private use, you are welcome to photograph activities and concerts during Göteborgs Kulturkalas. If you share photos or videos on social media, feel free to tag us at @Goteborgskulturkalas. If you are a professional photographer, you’ll need to apply for photo accreditation. The application opens during the summer of 2026. Read more on our Press and Media page.

Is it safe to visit the festival?

We work closely with the police to keep the festival safe, and follow the advice and recommendations from the authorities.

The Gothenburg Culture Festival provides sign language and audio description for several events. You’ll be able to see which ones once the 2026 festival programme is published.
