Description

This year's birch-bark horn scholarship goes to Anna Aronsson. She comes from the hill farm area of Sweden and has played the horn around the world. We will also listen to Sissel Morken Gullard who received the scholarship during the pandemic and only now has the opportunity to come to Gothenburg. She gives us an insight into the Norwegian herd music tradition. Bockhorn, birch-bark horn and French horn are her instruments.

A conglomeration of birch-bark horn is a standing feature, we also offer the traditional round blowing.
